I was on the bus home when my mom texted me, asking if I had heard about what had happened at the Boston Marathon.
I had left work early for class so had no idea. I was shocked and saddened when I heard.
When I got home, I turned the TV on to catch a bit of the stories before heading to class. What should have been a day of celebration and PRs and excitement ended in tragedy and pain. My heart goes out to all those in Boston and all those with family and friends in the Boston area.
