You can't even imagine how hard it is for me to stop biting/picking my nails.
I think trying to stop is worse than quitting smoking (although I've never smoked, so I don't know).
My fingers are attached to my hands - I can't put them away, or refuse to buy them.
I don't even know I'm doing it 95% of the time.
Until my co-worker yells at me.
Or Ivan yells at me.
Oh why didn't my mother make me break this horrible habit when I was young!!!
I am determined to "bite" this in the butt.
Nails - you will not get the best of me.
Beautiful wedding of mine:
do not fear,
I will have nice looking hands.
I promise.
Kattrina - I have been biting and picking at my nails my entire life. Funny enough -- there have been periods where all of a sudden I stop -- after I had my babies, on vacation ....
ReplyDeleteI managed to have decent (not glamourous) nails for my wedding. It's a tough addiction (say I as I look down at my jagged edged cuticles and nails). You'll do it!
I'm so glad to hear I'm not alone in the adult world! I am determined to shed this habit, if even for only a month or two!
ReplyDeleteKattrina, my best advice from another nail biter is get your nails done! Get thee self to a Nail Salon ASAP! Since you still have some time before the wedding, go ahead a get a set of nails put on. When you have nice manicured hands, you are less likely to bite them plus the false nails are more difficult to damage than your own. On your wedding day, you will want the Tradtional picture of the both of your hands together. Good Luck!
